Logistics Cluster

The Logistics Cluster is a global network led by the World Food Programme (WFP) that supports humanitarian organisations by coordinating logistics and providing essential services during emergency responses. It facilitates collaboration between humanitarian actors to overcome challenges in delivering aid to affected populations, often in complex and high-risk environments. The Logistics Cluster works to enhance information sharing, optimise the use of resources, and improve the efficiency of supply chains in crises.

Part of the Logistics Cluster, the Global Logistics Cluster’s Environmental Sustainability Team, Waste management & measuring, Reverse logistics, Environmentally sustainable procurement & transport, and Circular economy (WREC Coalition) is supported by a coalition of humanitarian organisations, including the Danish Refugee Council, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Save the Children International, and the World Food Programme of the United Nations with input from all Logistics Cluster partners, other humanitarian clusters, the private sector, and academic partners.
