On October 6th 2015, the UNEP/OCHA Joint Unit (JEU) and UNDP Armenia hosted the Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop with representatives of the teaching staff of the Crisis Management State Academy of Armenia and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Rescue Services. 

The ToT provides participants with knowledge on key tools for environmental emergency response and preparedness, such as the Flash Environmental Assessment Tool (FEAT). Trained facilitators can then deliver environmental emergency courses for students, national responders and ministry staff for degrees, workshops and trainings. The ToT was organized in partnership with UNDP as part of JEU’s capacity-building efforts in the Caucasus and Central Asia region.
