The OECD Chemical Accidents Programme is a programme which works to develop common principles and policy guidance to prevent, prepare and respond to chemical accidents.
By working in cooperation with multiple international organization, it analyses issues of concern and makes recommendations for best practices in preventing chemical accidents. The programme also works to facilitate the sharing of information between OECD Member and Non-Member countries.
The Working Group on Chemical Accidents holds annual meetings and frequently organizes workshops on specific topics related to chemical accidents.
